Holly Madison is an American model and reality TV star. Her career began as a model after competing in a Hawaiian Tropic modeling search. She then landed connections in the entertainment industry and had a chance to meet Playboy owner Hugh Hefner, who invited her to a year’s worth of soirees and parties. In 2001, Holly Madison was asked by Hefner to be one of his seven girlfriends and live in the Playboy Mansion. The following year, she became Hef’s No. 1 girl with Hugh’s remaining girlfriends Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.

In 2003, Holly Madison was featured on the Playboy website’s “Cyber Girl of the Week.” Since 2005, Holly Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson starred on the reality series “The Girls Next Door.” That same year, the three “Girls Next Door” stars graced the cover and was featured inside the November issue. They again appeared on Playboy’s issues for September 2006, March 2008 and February 2009. Holly, Bridget and Kendra all received fame throughout the show’s run. They have made guest appearances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show, “Larry King Live” and “The Today Show.”

By 2008, Holly Madison began working at the Playboy studios. She started as an intern, then got promoted to junior photo editor thereafter. Madison was responsible for choosing Playmate candidates, directing photo shoots and assisting in designing pictorials. One of Madison’s projects was the 2008 Girls Next Door calendar. Also in 2008, Holly co-authored the book “The Girls Next Door.”

Aside from Playboy, Holly Madison has also worked on various projects, including minor roles in the comedy films “The House Bunny” and “Scary Movie 4.” She has also made guest appearances on TV shows like “Entourage,” “General Hospital,” “The Apprentice” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Holly Madison, who is an active PETA supporter and animal lover, also writes articles for a quarterly magazine called “The Coolest Little Pet Magazine.”

In 2009, after breaking up with Hugh Hefner and leaving the Playboy mansion, Holly Madison won herself a new gig when country singer Jewel got injured and dropped out of the “Dancing with the Stars” competition. She replaced the singer and danced with partner Dmitry Chaplin. That same year, Holly Madison rallied women from Las Vegas for a recording-breaking “World’s largest bikini parade ever,” which successfully went into the Guinness World Record.

Also in 2009, Holly Madison landed her own reality series called “Holly’s World,” which revolves around her life as member of the ‘Peepshow’ burlesque show at Planet Hollywood. She also serves as the show’s co-producer and works behind the camera.
